Tell Congress to Heed Warnings About Radical Islamist Recruiting

In the last two years alone, 49 terrorists linked to radical Islam have been arrested in the U.S. plotting to kill Americans. The Ft. Hood shooter was one who succeeded.

Even before 9/11, the radical Islamists were infiltrating our communities and spreading their dangerous messages. And Congress has ignored the threat.

Rep. Pete King, chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, will hold hearings and re-assert his warnings about al-Qaida terrorists targeting Muslim youth in this country.

Once again, Congress has the opportunity to listen to the experts who will warn them that there is a focused effort to radicalize elements within the U.S. Muslim community and vastly insufficient cooperation from the Muslim community.

Now is the time to put aside petty partisanship and political correctness. Support these hearings and get serious about the clear and present danger posed by radical Islam — just like all the European nations are now trying to do, only several years too late.
